
American Airlines, one of the largest airlines in terms of passenger count with services to over 350 destinations, covering 6 continents and operating 6,700 daily flights has announced adding new routes. For the summer of 2025, American Airlines has made a big announcement on extending its trans-Atlantic services. American Airlines will add more destinations to its existing routes. The airline will soon start flights to Athens (ATH), Madrid (MAD), Milan (MXP), and Rome (FCO). It will also resume the flight service to Edinburgh and Scotland (EDI).
There is more to the 2025 plan. American Airlines will also introduce flights to Copenhagen (CPH), Naples (NAP), and Nice (NCE). There will also be an extension of seasonal service from Miami (MIA) to Paris (CDG). American Airlines will add more than 70 daily departure flights to cover 20 destinations. As it is expanding its reach to the mentioned European destinations, America Airlines will also be offering bigger aircraft for flights from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX) to Tokyo. For flights to Shanghai (PVG) and Tokyo Narita (NRT), the airline will introduce a codeshare agreement to include more places from Japan and East Asia.
