Avelo Airlines is an ultra-low-cost airline with its headquarters in Houston. Once only serving chartered flights, Avelo slowly built its network and started operating scheduled flights on domestic routes. It majorly covered the east and west coasts of the United States.
Recently, the airline announced that it would build its network by including 13 new routes and destinations, including the famous Bahamas. Nassau, Grand Rapids, and Long Island are also on the list of destinations it will cover. The airline has kept the starting fare as low as $39 for one-way. You can travel anytime from June 13 to August 25, 2025, but book your trip by March 17. Remember that there might be extra charges for carry-on bags, checked luggage, and other optional services, like picking your seat.
Avelo Airlines' network now includes 56 cities in 23 states and destinations such as Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic. For these new expanded routes, the airline aims to operate using Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. While the service remains low-cost, the aircraft adds to the efficiency and reliability of the journey.
