XiamenAir is a passenger airline that was founded in the year 1984. Based in Fujian, this Chinese airline is primarily owned by China Southern Airlines that owns more than 50% stakes in the company. XiamenAir flights fly to destinations throughout Asia and a few cities in Europe and the United States of America.
XiamenAir maintains its primary hub at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport and secondary hubs at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport and Fuzhou Changle International Airport. The airline is an affiliate member of SkyTeam. Its frequent flyer program is called Egret Card. Passengers’ onboard XiamenAir flights can choose from 11 movies and 8 short films from various genres such as travel, culture, humor, humanity and food to keep themselves entertained. All the movies and short films are periodically updated.
The airline also offers a range of music and reading material on the aircraft.
On Short-Haul flights, Economy Class passengers are served packaged small beverages and hot beverages such as boiled water, tea and coffee. First and Business Class passengers are offered an array of drinks to choose from.
On Long-Haul flights, Economy Class passengers are offered a variety of beverages to choose from such as fruit and vegetable juice, carbonated beverages, tea and coffee.
On few flights, hot meals also include beer. A variety of liquors are also available on certain flights.
XiamenAir also offers special meal services. A passenger is required to submit his/her request at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.

Carry-on Baggage:
First Class passengers can carry up to 2 pieces. Each piece must not exceed 11 lbs.
Business and Economy Class passengers can carry 1 piece up to 11 lbs.
No carryon bag must exceed the maximum dimensions of 21.5 x 13.5 x 10 inches.
Checked Baggage:
First Class passengers can check-in up to 3 pieces of baggage. Each piece must not exceed the weight restriction of 70 lbs.
Business Class passengers can check-in up to 2 pieces of baggage. Each piece must not exceed the weight limit of 70 lbs.
Economy Class passengers can check-in up to 2 pieces of baggage. Each piece must not exceed the weight restriction of 50 lbs.
No bag should exceed the linear dimension of 62 inches.
Infants not occupying a seat are allowed to check-in up to 1 piece, weighing up to 22 lbs. and not exceeding the linear dimension of 45 inches.
