Baggage Policy

Carry-On Allowance:

WestJet allows each of its passengers to carry one bag alongside one personal item such as a purse, briefcase or laptop bag free of charge. The carry-on baggage must adhere to the following requirements –

• The dimensions of the baggage must not exceed 45 linear inches (21 x 15 x 9), including wheels and handles.
• Must fit in the overhead bin or below the seat in front of you.

The personal item must adhere to the following requirements -

• The dimensions of the personal item must not exceed 35 linear inches (16 x 13 x 6).
• Must fit in the overhead bin or below the seat in front of you.
• Items like jackets, umbrellas, strollers, walkers, duty free items, etc. are not counted as carry-on baggage.

Checked Baggage Allowance:

WestJet allows its passengers a maximum of 4 bags and 3 on the encore flights which must adhere to the following requirements:

• The dimensions of each of the bags must not exceed 62 inches (length + width + height).

The maximum weight of each of the bags must not exceed 50 lbs.
