Carry-on Baggage
Passengers with a TACA Airlines ticket are allowed to take only one piece of luggage as carry-on baggage.
The weight of this bag should be less than 22 lbs. and the sum of its dimensions within the 45 in. limit.
Along with this piece of baggage, passengers are also allowed one personal item which could be a laptop, purse or any other such small item.
The carry-on baggage must be adjustable in the overhead compartment or under the seat of the passenger sitting in front of you.
Checked Baggage
The checked baggage allowance depends on the destination and various other factors. So, it would be wise for passengers to check the policy based on the origin or destination of their flight.
On most TACA Airlines flights, Economy Class passengers are permitted to check in up to two bags not exceeding a combined weight limit of 50 lbs. The sum of the dimensions of these bags is not to go beyond 62 in.
Economy Class travelers on flights originating from or destined for Latin America are allowed to carry additional 20 lbs. of checked baggage. This privilege also applies to people flying Business Class on any flight with TACA Airlines.
It is to be noted that an additional charge is levied on baggage that exceeds the limitations. Baggage charges are also subject to change at the airline’s sole discretion. Hence, before booking your flight tickets, it is advised that travelers check the latest baggage policy and charges for additional luggage.
