Baggage Policy

Carry-on Baggage

Scandinavian passengers can carry one bag as carry-on baggage and the maximum dimensions should not exceed 22x16x9 inches and weight up to 18 lbs.

If you’re traveling to the US or Asia in SAS Plus or SAS Business, you are allowed to carry two pieces of cabin baggage onboard Scandinavian Airlines flights, each weighing up to 18lbs.

The passengers are also allowed to carry one additional item like a handbag or small laptop bag onboard for free. The maximum dimension of the additional item should not exceed 16x11.8x5.9 inches.

Checked Baggage

Passengers traveling with SAS Go Light ticket do not have any free checked baggage allowance.

If you traveling in SAS Go Class, one piece of a checked-in bag is allowed that should not weigh more than 50 lbs.

For SAS Plus, two items of checked-in bags are allowed that should not weigh more than 50 lbs.

SAS Business Passengers traveling to/from US or Asia can carry two items weighing under 70 lbs.

Passengers traveling with infants under two can bring one piece of checked baggage that should not weigh over 50 lbs. and the maximum dimensions of the bag should not exceed 45 inches.

EuroBonus Gold & Diamond membership holders are allowed two extra items of baggage free of charge.
