In addition to the cabin baggage allowance, passengers can also carry one item free of charge such as a blanket, an umbrella, overcoat, camera, binoculars, etc.
Checked-in Baggage
Executive Class passengers can bring two pieces as checked-in baggage. The maximum weight per piece must not exceed 70 lbs. and the combined weight must not exceed 141 lbs.
Economy Class Discount and Smart ticket travelers are allowed to carry one piece weighing not more than 50 lbs. and Value ticket passengers can bring two bags weighing up to 100 lbs.
It should be noted that passengers traveling between USA and Cape Verde on Azores Airlines flights are granted allowance of two pieces up to 100 lbs. in Economy cabin.
