Being a low-cost carrier, Ryanair aircraft provide seats of 17 inches width and 30 inches of space between two seats. Some rows are designed to offer more legroom and width to the passengers.
The airline provides an option for its passengers to bring their food onboard. However, hot drinks can’t be carried onboard for the interest of safety. They can be purchased from the in-flight menu.
Ryanair introduced new ‘Quiet Flights’ service which operates on flights up to 7 am and after 10 pm. During these times, crew members dim the cabin lights and make only safety announcements, allowing passengers to rest if they want to. Also, in-flight café service is still offered during these hours.
The airline allows its passengers to use the portable electronic gadgets weighing less than 1 kilo during the flight once they are put on flight mode.
All passengers can carry two free cabin bags. One carry-on bag and one personal bag weighing not more than 22 lbs. The maximum dimensions a carry-on bag is 22x16x8 inches and for personal bag is 14x8x8 inches. All of the carry-on baggage must be able to fit in the overhead bin or under the seat placed in front of you.
Passengers traveling with an infant can carry an additional bag weighing not over 11 lbs.
Being a low-cost carrier, the airline does not have free checked baggage allowance. Checked baggage weighing either 33 lbs. or 44 lbs. can be purchased by the passengers by paying the applicable checked baggage fees.
