About Royal Jordanian (RJ) Flights
Being the national airline of Jordan, Royal Jordanian Airlines operates daily scheduled flights to various countries from its main hub at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan. The airline was established in 1963 and commenced operations in 1963 after a royal announcement by the late King Hussein.
The airline has codeshare agreement with the following airlines i.e. Air Berlin, Alitalia, American Airlines, British Airways, Gulf Air, Iberia, Malaysia Airlines, Middle East Airlines, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, S7 Airlines and Turkish Airlines. Royal Jordanian’s frequent flyer program is Royal Plus. Travelers are awarded miles based on the type, class of flight and destination. However, Royal Plus members can also get miles by traveling on other Oneworld airlines.

Passengers flying on medium to long flights are served full meals and light snacks are provided on flights of short duration. Special meals can also be requested when you book airline tickets.
The in-flight entertainment system onboard Royal Jordanian flights contains a range of blockbuster and class movies, TV shows and top music stations. Passengers traveling in Economy Class can carry one bag and the Crown Class passengers may take two pieces of baggage except those traveling on Embraer aircraft, where the limit is one piece for all passengers. The sum of three dimensions of each carry-on bag must not exceed 45 inches. The maximum permitted weight for each bag is 15 lbs.
For passengers traveling from/ to North America: The crown class passengers are permitted to carry two pieces as free checked baggage. Each checked baggage must not weigh over 70 lbs. and the sum of three dimensions of one piece must not exceed 62 inches.
The economy class passengers are permitted to carry two bags, each weighing not over 50 lbs. The sum of three dimensions of each bag must not exceed 62 inches.
Passengers flying with an infant are permitted to carry one additional bag weighing not over 50 lbs. and the sum of three dimensions of the bag must not exceed 45 inches.
