About Alliance Air (9I) Flights
Alliance Air is an Indian air carrier that was originally launched as a low-cost subsidiary of Indian Airlines. After the merger of Indian Airlines and Air India, Alliance Air was renamed as Air India Regional. Alliance Air reservations are mostly available to tier-2 and tier-3 Indian cities linking them to metropolises.
In March 2017, Air India Regional decided to revert back to its original name Alliance Air. Alliance Air is a member of global airline alliance Star Alliance. Alliance Air flights fly with the slogan ‘Connecting India.’ Its frequent flyer program is called Flying returns.
The airline presently maintains five operating bases at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Indira Gandhi International Airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Indira Gandhi International Airport and Kempegowda International Airport.
