About Air Transat (TS) Flights
Founded in the year 1986, Air Transat is a leisure airline based in Montreal, Quebec. The airline has its operating bases at the Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Canadian airline is headquartered in Montreal. The airline has also been awarded with the 2012 Skytrax World’s Best Leisure Airline Award. The Air Transat flights carries almost 3 million passengers to 63 destinations in almost 30 countries.
Air Transat was founded on December 1986 and commenced its operations on November 14, 1987. It flies with a company slogan ‘Vacation is calling.’
Connectivity and Fleet Size
Although the carrier operates many year round flights to Europe, Air Transat specializes in many charter flights from 19 Canadian cities to other tourist destinations including 15 countries in the south during winter and 11 countries during summer.
As of July 2016, Air Transat fleet consists of around 43 aircraft.

Each passenger is allowed to carry one personal item such as a laptop, handbag and one bag. Maximum dimensions of Carry-on luggage should not exceed 45 inches and the maximum weight should be 22 lbs. for Economy Class and 33 lbs. for Club Class.
