Carry-on Baggage
Passengers are allowed to carry one bag that must easily fit in the overhead bin. The bag must adhere to the following requirements –
The maximum weight of the bag must not exceed 22 lbs. On ATR aircraft, the limit is 11 lbs.
The maximum dimensions of the bag must not exceed 14 x 22 x 10 inches. On ATR aircraft, the limit is 12 x 16 x 8 inches.
Checked Baggage
Free baggage allowance depends on route and travel class of the flight. The permissible limits are mentioned on your Air Alegerie tickets.
Passengers traveling with infants under the age of 2 years are permitted an additional allowance of 22 lbs. on all routes and flight cabins.
Checked Baggage must adhere to the following requirements –
The sum of the three dimensions of a baggage must not exceed 62 inches.
No single bag must weigh more than 70 lbs. Bags weighing more than 70 lbs. will be shipped via Air Algérie cargo.
Please note that the right to amend baggage allowances is reserved solely with airlines. Thus, once your flight ticket booking is confirmed, it is recommended to check the exact baggage limits accepted by Air Algérie, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.
