Traveling from Charlotte will be much easier now. In May, Spirit Airlines will introduce flights to six new cities from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. These include Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Nashville, Baltimore, Detroit, and Philadelphia. Each of these cities will now have a minimum of two weekly flights from May 9.
The expansion will see Spirit Airlines offer its services to 16 destinations from Charlotte, with 17 daily departures taking off from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The announcement came just a few days after the airline added service from Charlotte to DFW in Dallas.
