Alaska Airlines is all set to operate nonstop flights in partnership with Hawaiian Air. You can now board direct flights between Seattle and Tokyo Narita, and Seattle and Seoul Incheon set to start by next year. The airline is planning to use Hawaiian Airlines wide body aircraft for the flights.

Alaska Air will start operating daily trips between Seattle and Tokyo Narita by May 12 and introduce trips between Seattle and Seoul Incheon by October. The new routes will be part of Alaska's plan to connect 12 international locations with nonstop flights out of Alaska's Seattle hub by 2030.

The company observed that following the pandemic the airline’s route between Honolulu and Tokyo Narita has witnessed a drying up of demand which has made them reposition one of Hawaiian Airlines' wide body aircraft to Seattle. Alaska Air also intends to enhance its number of flights between Hawaii and Tokyo Haneda.

Alaska Air also aims to embolden its domestic offerings between the mainland US and the Hawaiian Islands in partnership with Hawaiian Airlines. The company has observed that it expects a rise of 20%in seats between Seattle to Honolulu and a 25% hike between Portland and Honolulu. Alaska Air is also planning to add new stops between San Francisco and Kona on Hawai'i Island, and L?hu‘e on Kaua?i.
