Starting June 5, travelers can experience the next level of comfort with the debut of the brand-new Flagship Suite® seats on the stylish Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Think elevated luxury, sleek design, and serious in-flight comfort.
That's not all, just this week, AA welcomed two brand-new 787 9 Dreamliners at its Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) hub, with 30 more set to join the fleet by 2029. By then, the airline plans to increase its lie-flat and Premium Economy seating by a whopping 50%, giving passengers more premium choices.
So what's the schedule for this new aircraft?
The first trip will be on Flight 2012, from Chicago O'Hare (ORD) to Los Angeles (LAX). On the return leg, the aircraft starts its long-haul service from Chicago to London Heathrow (LHR) as Flight 98. Flights from Philadelphia (PHL) to both London and Zurich (ZRH) will start on August 6. To welcome the fall, American will launch the Flagship Suite service all the way to Brisbane, Australia (BNE) from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) sometime around October 26.
American Airlines' Flagship Suite will soon be introduced on all incoming 787-9s, the new Airbus A321XLRS, and retrofitted Boeing 777-300ERs, providing more options for luxurious travel.
